Safer Internet Day - February 8th 2011
Safer Internet Day is organised
by
Insafe (in Europe) and the UK Safer Internet Centre
http://www.saferinternet.org.uk as well as many partner
organisations from countries across the world each year in
February. The aim is to promote safer and more responsible use
of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst
children and young people across the world.
The topic for 2011 is "our
virtual lives" around the slogan " It's more than a game, it's
your life".
WISE KIDS is
supporting European Safer Internet Day 2011 by delivering a a
series of workshops for young people, parents and teachers in
Wales.
