Safer Internet Day - February 7th 2012
Safer Internet Day is organised
by
Insafe (in Europe) and the UK Safer Internet Centre
http://www.saferinternet.org.uk as well as many partner
organisations from countries across the world each year in
February. The aim is to promote safer and more responsible use
of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst
children and young people across the world.
The topic for 2012 will be
centred around the theme Connecting generations and educating
each other, with the slogan: "Discover the digital world
together... safely!"
WISE KIDS is
supporting European Safer Internet Day 2012 by delivering a a
series of workshops and training days for young people, parents
and carers in
Wales. Sangeet Bhullar from WISE KIDS will also be
participating in the BBC's Ask a Panel sessions.
