Teen Works 2005: Young People and the Internet

15th of November 2005 - Dylan Thomas Centre, Swansea

"Teen Works 2005: Young People and the Internet" was a one day conference organised by WISE KIDS and IT Wales to explore young people's awareness and use of the Internet and mobile phones, and look at current and upcoming trends in this area. It also aimed to look at current research and guidelines in this area, and provide relevant examples and strategies that young people and adults could use to take advantage of the Internet and mobile phone technologies, whilst ensuring their personal safety. The conference was held at the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea, and was one of the events held as part of ict forum wales 2005. PDF copies of speaker's presentations are given below. Audio and video presentations of the day will be available online in mid January.
